How to Install All 9 Outrun Unique Parts in NFSU2
In career mode, TJ's nine Outrun Unique performance upgrades and the Widebody kits are not permanent items on shop shelves. They are stored inside each vehicle slot of your save, which is why a save editor can install them directly onto a car.
The 9 Outrun Uniques
Each garage slot card in the editor has an Outrun Uniques bar with one toggle per upgrade:
Hover a toggle to see what it does. Click it to switch that Unique on or off.
Install all 9 in a few clicks
- Back up your save and open the NFSU2 Save Editor, then load your career save.
- In Career Garage, find an occupied slot and use the Outrun Uniques bar: toggle single parts or click +All 9.
- Set the slot's Perf tier to Extreme (Level 3 Max) for conflict-free Stage 3 performance.
- Click Download Save and replace the file in your profile folder.
Conflict-free Level 3 Extreme performance
The Extreme (Lvl 3 Max) tier installs every non-conflicting Stage 3 performance package, keeps your visual aero bumpers and spoilers, and sets the 9-byte shop ownership bitmask so the parts show up as Owned in the shops.
Dyno presets per car
Every occupied slot has a Dyno Preset selector. It tunes all five ECU and turbo torque setups (Circuit, Drag, Drift, Street X and URL) for peak horsepower, drag acceleration or mid-range drift torque, without breaking your gearbox ratios.
Want everything at once? 100% Stage 5 sandbox
The Apply 100% Complete World button converts a save into a full Stage 5 sandbox while keeping your profile name, bank cash and garage cars: it unlocks all 5 sponsor garage slots, opens the whole Bayview map (Stages 1–5), unlocks 100% of Body, Performance and Specialty shop parts, and applies Stage 3 plus all 9 Outrun Uniques to your cars.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the Outrun Uniques not in the shops?
In career mode the Uniques and Widebody kits are stored inside each vehicle slot rather than on permanent shop shelves, so they are added to the car itself.
Will the parts show as owned in the shops?
Yes. Setting a car to Extreme (Lvl 3 Max) also sets the 9-byte shop ownership bitmask so the installed parts appear as Owned.
Does this change my visual customization?
No. Extreme performance preserves your visual aero parts such as bumpers and spoilers.
